MAYBELLINE DIAMOND GLOW BY EYE STUDIO IN WINE PINK – REVIEW

Well, I am kinda pinky girl. From my wardrobe to cosmetics I have most things in pink color. Even my room walls are painted pink. Sometimes I think that this color and I have some connection. Whenever I go shopping I almost get most of the things in pink. I am completely obsessed with this color and the product that I am going to review today is Maybelline diamond glow by eye studio eye shadow in wine pink that is also <PINK>.
The product says glow your eyes with luxurious pearls for an open eye look. Ready to wear eye color pallet.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT:

A)     THE FIRST LOOK/PACKAGING- Maybelline diamond glow by eye studio in wine pink comes in rectangular shape very slim box having black base and transparent top. I really liked that the top is made transparent. One can easily see the colors and can easily grab the pallet from bunch of cosmetic products while getting ready. You don’t have to open it to see the shades. There are four shades in it starting from a pearly shade to wine color via light and dark pinks. There is an applicator too with the pack.
There are directions at the back of pallet on how to use the colors to get the right look and I find this thing very good for the beginners. If you are not a professional or not good at doing eye makeup you can easily go through the instructions and get the look.
The pearly color is in maximum amount. This is because it has to be used as the base, but it can be used as the highlighter too. And the others are in equal amounts.

B)     USAGE- The applicator has two spongy ends, one thick and the other thin. You just need to swipe it once on the eye shadow and it takes up the right amount of product on. The thicker end is for wider application and the thinner one for doing precise detailing on the eye lid. I liked the applicator. The product and the applicator both are very soft on the eyelids. It’s a shimmery eye shadow palette. It has lot of shimmer in it ( as the name is diamond glow) . The colors are not very dark when applied on the eye .i.e. the pigmentation is OK kind. You need to do two or three coats to get bright dark shade on your eye. It’s better that you use eye shadow base first to get a more vibrant look. Overall I will say that it’s an average kind of eye shadow.
